Study Finds Many CEO’s are Blind to Culture Issues
A new study has revealed many Australian CEOs and leaders in business are blind to culture problems in their own company.
The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) surveyed 967 respondents including CEOs, leaders and frontline workers, and found issues exist in several industries including education and training, health care, professional and financial services, and in the government sector.
AHRI chief executive Lyn Goodear told the Australian Financial Review that a “clear disconnect still remains across Australian businesses between the chief executive’s impression of company culture and what is being felt at the frontline.”
SiDCOR believes culture is one of the most important components of a business, with CEO Scott Douglas, a big believer of putting staff first. In this video watch how he talks about the first steps to creating a great culture.
