Reporting to the Office Manager, The Receptionist role is an integral part of the Practice Management team and allows the practice to run seamlessly and professionally by ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.

Our Head Quarters is located in the East End precinct, where you will find Newcastle’s main cultural and business hub, and of course the beach. With over 60 staff, SiDCOR Newcastle services local, national and international clients. We specialise in SMEs and deliver the services each individual needs depending on where they are in their business life, personal life and journey to creating wealth.
As one of two receptionists, you will be tasked with the following:
Client Service
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a warm and professional way and contribute to them having a positive experience
- Answer phones and transfer to staff accordingly
- Take phone messages and send via Teams
- Forward or action reception emails
- Always portray a professional image of SiDCOR and ensure an understanding of our services and value proposition
Administration
- Regular monitoring the appearance of the front office and addressing issues as required
- Post events, staff movements and notices in Teams for staff information
- Action FYI ‘Unknown Client’ folder documents
- Reorder Australia Post envelopes and satchels
- Process Eftpos payments
- Saving electronically scanned documents appropriately for easy retrieval as part of the firm’s paperless
office strategy as required
- Sorting and scanning incoming mail and coordinating outgoing post
- Arranging and meeting couriers
- When required support with overflow tasks from the Client Service Coordinators
- ATO mate escalations when required
- Prepare and lodge client related documents/information with external agencies (ASIC, ATO, OSR) within required
