SiDCOR accountant, Kristiana Gorgievski, wins the Bean Counters Pathway Scholarship
Growing into your potential is not just a philosophy that SiDCOR endeavours to achieve for our clients—it is also something that is encouraged and celebrated within our company culture. One of our own, Kristiana Gorgievski (better known as Kristy) is the personification of the phrase ‘grow into your potential’.
Kristy first joined the SiDCOR team in 2014 while completing her High School Certificate, coming in after school for a few hours to assist the admin hub. There was no question when Kristy completed her HSC that she would progress into the full-time role as Admin Assistant.
Always aspiring to pursue a career in accounting, Kristy completed her Cert IV in Accounting and, in February 2017 enrolled into an Associate Degree of Accounting at TAFE NSW. Due to her success and determination, in May this year Kristy was awarded The Bean Counters Pathway Scholarship for the Associate Degree of Accounting at the annual Bean Counters Ball. A renowned and highly competitive scholarship within the Hunter accounting network, this is a fantastic achievement and SiDCOR couldn’t be more proud of her.
Described by her colleagues as dedicated and driven, she is often first in the office every morning. It wasn’t long after her scholarship that Kristy progressed from Admin Assistant to Trainee Accountant.
Only a few years into her career as an accountant and with some fantastic achievements under her belt already, we predict big things on the horizon for Kristy and can’t wait to see them unfold.
