SiDCOR Gold Coast Makes Monday Casual in Support of our Farmers
Are you going home tonight to a nice cooked meal? Some people aren’t as lucky, especially our Aussie farmers struggling with the drought.
With our Queensland farmers battling to look after their livestock and even to put food on the table, our Gold Coast office wanted to help out. From the simple act of wearing jeans to work on Monday, the team raised an impressive $445 through the Drought Angels website.
Drought Angels is a small charity run by people with big hearts who are passionate about our farmers and keeping them on the land. They provide relief for farmers in the way of food hampers, care packs, prepaid visas, local store vouchers, stock feed and hay, as well as personalised assistance.
At SiDCOR, we’re well aware of how these donations, big or small, can make a big impact, so we want to congratulate our Gold Coast office for their fundraising efforts.
We also want to send our love and support to all the farmers doing it tough at the moment.
If you wish to donate to Drought Angels, head to their website here (I’ll add the link once it’s up on the website).
